Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday to all. How are you doing? What did you do this weekend? Yesterday was a very quiet day for us but Saturday evening we drove into Montreal to watch a band perform. The bass player is a really good friend of the most amazing man in the world. He's such a good friend that he drove down to Kingston (three hours away) when we were moving to help us load up the truck and take our stuff to our new house. When he mentioned at the time that he had a show in May, we told him to send us two tickets so we can go see him and his band mates play. It's the least we could do to thank him. It was a really good show and it gave us a chance to get out and enjoy ourselves.

Now let's enjoy some funny stuff.

Have a great day!

  5. Excellent tweet! Exactly what I would do if someone I was dating was allergic to Rex or Lily.

    It would be "Bye Felicia!"

  8. That is a wonderful friend. Very cool. Weekend here was spent in the kitchen both days, making loads of goodies. Right now, I'm waiting on Frankenberry to get home and he's taking me out to get wild purple dead nettle. So cool.

    PS: Loved the last comic.

Having tea now and soon to sand the walls. By gosh, I think we won't need the heat on today. Hot dog.

What's on your plate for the day. Feels like forever since we chatted.

    3. HAHAHA! That is funny. Great title for a post.
Today I spent the day painting. Our main floor is done, done and done. At least we now have our kitchen, dining area, bedroom, office and bathroom sparkling clean and freshly painted. We will move down to the storage area soon to build shelves and straighten it out, and then tackle the basement. Still a lot of work but good progress.

    7. Safely tucked away until we're done. Then it'll be placed in its permanent spot.

  10. I too would give away the boyfriend who was allergic to a kitten. My weekend was quiet. I edited a lot. Editing makes me happy, especially when I get paid for it.

    Love,
