Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone! How are you all doing? Have you seen any interesting movies lately? Read any good books? Gone anywhere? Done anything fun or exciting or unusual? Do share in the comments below. We were invited for dinner at my best friend's and her husband's home on Friday evening. They live in Montreal. The food was great and the company even better. My friend and I have known each other since we were four. Isn't that amazing? Love it. And love her. Now that we live so much closer, we can see each other whenever we want. Love that, too.

I won't go on and on this morning because it's going to be a busy day. So here's some funny stuff to start the day off right. Enjoy!

Have a good one.

  2. You picked some good ones this week! As the mother of a boy who LOVED Lego, I can confirm that one. We did the fireworks thing, and now are just enjoying getting other outdoor jobs done. -Jenn

  3. I love the funnies Martha! :) Honestly, with the rain, all I've been interested in doing is eating and drinking lol...I've been in the kitchen non-stop it seems. I'm reading Groucho Marx's auto-biography and it's one witty line after the other...very funny! We finally have sunshine! I'll be out on my porch all day likely, catching up on blogs and reading! Hope you have a great Monday! :)

  7. I love the Lego one!! I think I love it extra because it looks like a kid might have done it (the unmade bed in the background, the fact that there's Lego to begin with, and having had a son who came up with similar things that made me laugh until my stomach hurt). I could be wrong about that, but it's still excellent :)

  11. Those were all fun. I am glad you got to spend time with an old friend. We never go to the movies, but A Street cat Named Bob and The Accountant ( Ben Affleck) are both great and on DVD. I have Laa Laa Land from the library to watch tomorrow.

  15. Hey Martha,

Great jokes. I do know that beginner witches have a tendency to fly off the handle. Seat belts should be mandatory for those who are test pilots for broom factories.
